to the Associate Director of Career Counseling and Planning for providing comprehensive
career services to a diverse body of students at the University Park
Campus. The primary responsibility is to provide drop-in, individual, and
group career counseling sessions that focus on a wide variety of career
development topics including career decision making, job/internship search

appropriate referral services for students requiring extended psychological
services. In addition to providing counseling and outreach, the counselor
will assist in the delivery of unit-wide programs, collaborate with academic
staff/faculty, serve as liaison to an academic college, and on a rotating basis
teach undergraduate career development classes and co-coordinate the mock
interview program. <o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class=MsoPlainText><span style='font-family:"Century Gothic","sans-serif"'>Requires
Master’s degree in Counselor Education, Counseling Psychology, Student
Personnel/Student Affairs or equivalent, plus one year of work-related
experience. Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) certification or LPC
eligible in the State of Pennsylvania is strongly preferred. <o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class=MsoPlainText><span style='font-family:"Century Gothic","sans-serif"'>The
Counselor must be skilled at psychosocial assessment and interpersonal
counseling, demonstrate multicultural competence, and be grounded in both
career and personal development theory. The Counselor must possess a
