their role as training mental health counselors. The programs focus on
preparing students academically, professionally, and personally to become
skilled counselors. The philosophical foundation of the program is based on: a)
the scholar-practitioner model, b) culturally relevant pedagogy and practice,
c) academic and experiential learning, and d) developmental instruction that
includes an emphasis on personal growth. The scholar-practitioner training
model is designed to develop students who integrate skills, knowledge, and
research into practice. <o:p></o:p></span></p>

successful candidate will be responsible for educating Walden University

Directors and work closely with the Associate Dean of the School of Counseling
and Social Service, Faculty Coordinators of their program specialization, full
and part time faculty, academic advising, and administrative staff within the
