style='font-size:12.5pt'>Graduate students who are members of the Association
for Assessment in Counseling and Education (AACE) are encouraged to apply for
the AACE Donald Hood Student Research Grant. This annual grant program is
designed to recognize and honor students who are seeking to complete research
investigations that show promise for outstanding contributions to the
counseling profession. The Student Research Grant provides a cash award up to
$500.00, a certificate of recognition presented at the ACA Annual Conference and
acknowledgment of the award in AACE <i>Newsnotes</i>. Winners of the grant must
prepare a manuscript for submission to <i>Measurement and Evaluation in
Counseling and Development</i>, AACE’s journal. Winners also will be invited to
join the AACE Awards Committee the following year.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

letter, and faculty letter of support, interested students should submit a
5-page research proposal. The proposal should be written in <i>APA style </i>with
an abstract, introduction, design and methodology, and selected references
sections. The proposal should include the following: (1) 50-word statement
indicating how the project will be helped by the grant, (2) 50-word statement
discussing the significance of the project, and (3) a project budget and
timetable for the project’s completion. <o:p></o:p></span></p>

style='font-size:12.5pt'><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
