[Counselor_Educ] NCACES 2026

[Foreman, Tamarine]

I thrilled to share that 10 doctoral students attended and presented at the NCACES conference in Des Moines, Iowa - and we had the largest student representation at the conference. Each doctoral cohort was represented: Hoon, Zsofi, Edib, Hillary, Anagha, Harriet, Andrew, Sahaj, Yvonne, Nic. Nic was also part of the NCACES Emerging Leader Program!

Ohio University was also represented by 5 alumni counselor educators (Dr.’s Jenna Alvarez, Paul Granell, Darcy Granello, Ayesegul Ercevik, and Jake Protivnak). Alunni Darcy Granello received an award for the Counselor Education and Supervision publication of the year.

Way to go Bobcats! I am so honored and humbled to be part of OU’s Counselor Education program and part of so many people’s journey!

Wishing everyone a wonderful week!

Kindly,
Dr. Tamarine Foreman
