Hello!
My name is Bryana Caviness, and I am a doctoral candidate in Counselor Education and Supervision. I am conducting a research study exploring how school counselors experience doctoral training in CACREP-accredited CES programs, specifically related to self-efficacy and professional identity development.
You are being invited to participate because you hold a master’s degree in school counseling and are a licensed school counselor who is currently enrolled in or has recently graduated from a CACREP-accredited Counselor Education and Supervision (CES) doctoral program. If you are currently enrolled, you must have completed a minimum of three (3) doctoral credit hours in the CES program to participate.
Participation involves:

 One 45-90- minute interview conducted via secure video platform
  *
 You may receive a follow-up email (if needed) which would take 5-10 minutes to answer.
  *
You will also have the opportunity to review your transcript for accuracy (10–20 minutes).

Names and other identifying information will be requested as part of this study, but participant identities will not be disclosed
 A consent document will be provided if you meet my eligibility criteria.  The consent document contains additional information about my research. If you choose to participate, you will need to sign the consent document and return it to me prior to the time of your interview.
