Program Description:
This program will help clinicians recognize and understand the impact of religious trauma on clients' mental, emotional, sexual, and spiritual well-being. Attendees will learn trauma-informed, culturally sensitive counseling techniques and strategies to support healing, identity integration, and resilience in clients navigating spiritual harm.

Objectives:
1. Define religious trauma and identify at least three signs or indicators that clients may be affected by religious trauma.
2. Describe at least four impacts (e.g., mental, emotional, sexual, spiritual) that religious trauma can have on client health and self-concept.
3. Demonstrate at least five trauma-informed counseling techniques for supporting clients navigating religious trauma.
4. Create a culturally competent, spiritually sensitive, and trauma-informed treatment plan to ethically support clients and foster healing and resilience.
