Greetings from Athens, Ohio! Fall semester is underway -- and our campus is filled with energy and excitement. All of us at the School of International Studies and Languages (SISAL) are delighted to welcome new students from across Ohio and across the world. We began the semester with the SISAL New Student Orientation, where our incoming students had the chance to meet faculty, staff, and students who will mentor and support them throughout their academic journey. We also celebrated the SISAL Fall Welcome Reception in the backyard of Yamada House, bringing together almost 200 students, faculty, alumni, and friends in a joyful celebration of the start of a new semester. These events set a warm tone for the year ahead!

We are beginning an exciting week with the Launch of the School of International Studies and Languages. We are pleased to welcome alumni, partners and friends to Athens for this celebration of global education.
