There are two excellent September events coming up & I need help making sure the right folks know about them.

The first event is The Nurtured Heart Approach on September 17th.  This virtual training is most appropriate for educators, foster care parents, and professionals working with children and adults who demonstrate some high-energy or disruptive behaviors.  The training is free AND participation in the training leads to certification in The Nurtured Heart Approach.  We are also offering CEUs for this training.   The trainer is excellent! The second event is Appalachian Stories of Resilience & Recovery on September 25th.  This event will occur at 5 different locations across our region.  It is free and includes lunch!  This event is most appropriate for… well… everyone!  The Athens site is full, but space is still available at the following locations:

  *   Ohio University Zanesville Campus
  *   University of Rio Grande in Gallia County
  *   Shawnee Mental Health Center in Portsmouth
  *   Tower Event & Conference Center in Marrietta
