Dear Master's Students

If you are doing internship in fall 2025, spring 2026, or summer 2026, I encourage you to apply to the Appalachian Children Coalition for internship funding. Funding is limited and will go to those who apply first. If you are not funded in spring you will likely be put on a waiting list for spring.

Additionally, for current students, ACC will reimburse the cost of licensure tests (pending funding availability). You will need to submit your receipt for reimbursement.

My name is Anna Reed, and I am the Director of Workforce Development for the Appalachian Children Coalition. We at the Appalachian Children Coalition (ACC) aim to serve those who serve children in the behavioral health field in all 32 Appalachian Ohio counties.

We are excited to offer two different opportunities for students in your school this year!


  1.  Careers in Behavioral Health Presentation: we would value the opportunity to visit a class or a grade level to talk about the many different ways to be involved and make an impact on your community.


  1.  ACC Internship Program: we offer a semester-long paid internship for juniors and seniors consisting of a 130 hour experience and a stipend of $1,500 upon successful completion.

     *   **We are currently accepting applications for  FALL 2025, SPRING 2026 and SUMMER 2026 Semesters


  1.  Appalachian Youth Led Prevention Council (AYLPC): we are excited to pilot a leadership program around prevention and wellness for high school students in our region.
