Greetings everyone!

Congratulations to all new initiates; welcome aboard.

The current executive board's term is coming to a close, and it is time to elect a new board for the 2024-2025 term.

Eligibility criteria:

  *   You may self-nominate or nominate another member for an executive position.

  *   The nominee's membership must be current (new initiates are eligible to apply)

  *   You may nominate yourself or a member for more than one position
The executive board positions and responsibilities are as follows:

Role of the President:  (the nominee must be a doctoral student)

  *   Responsible for organizing, delegating, following up, overseeing, orchestrating, and enthusiastically encouraging member participation

  *   Motivate members, support and recognize their efforts, celebrate their successes, and enable their activities.

  *   Chair the Chapter Executive Committee meetings and member meetings.

  *   To attend any necessary training

  *   To represent the chapter, as needed

Role of the Vice-President: (the nominee can be a doctoral or master's student)

*                  To support the president in performing chapter duties

*                  To serve as a member of the Chapter Executive Committee

*                  To stay informed of the current affairs and activities of the chapter

*                  To provide leadership on specific projects

*                  To attend any necessary training

*                  To step in as leader of the chapter should the president become unable to perform their duties

Role of the Treasurer: (the nominee can be a doctoral or master's student)

*                  To monitor and maintain appropriate financial records
*                  To compile necessary treasury reports as needed
*                  To submit funding and reimbursement requests
*                  To complete a financial audit each year
*                  To maintain effective communication with the Chapter Faculty Advisor (CFA) regarding financial matters of the organization's account
*                  To attend any necessary training

Role of the Secretary: (the nominee can be a doctoral or master's student)

*                  To maintain a record of meeting minutes

*                  To communicate chapter events and updates to all members and non-members

*                  To maintain the chapter's notice board

*                  To execute duties as assigned
Please email me with names of nominees by 6 pm, Monday, March 18, 2024.

The process:
Nominated members will be informed of their nominations and allowed to accept or reject them. A Qualtrics survey will be emailed to all members to cast their votes. The voting period will be from Tuesday, March 19, until 6 pm on Wednesday, March 20.
Elected board members will be notified via email on Thursday, March 21. The new board will be introduced during the initiation and award ceremony on Sunday, March 24.
