My name is Kristine Ramsay-Seaner, and I am one of faculty members the counseling program at West Virginia University. I am reaching out to let you know about open positions that we are currently hoping to fill for the 2024-2025 academic year. Please consider sharing this with students and colleagues that you believe may be interested.

Interested applicants would be able to:

  *   Live in a state that has been described as "Almost Heaven".
  *   Easily travel to Washington DC, Baltimore, and Columbus (OH) in around three hours.
  *   Trek north to Pittsburgh in just over 90 minutes.
  *   Live in the same state as the United States newest National Park, New River Gorge.
  *   Work at a R-1, land-grant university that prepares engineers, doctors, dentists, lawyers, agricultural providers, teachers, and counselors.
  *   Work in a dynamic and diverse program that offers both online and face-to-face instruction in Clinical Mental Health (online/in-person) and School Counseling.
  *   Collaborate with a supportive faculty whose research/advocacy interests represent a variety of topics including LGBTQ+ mental health, violence prevention, group counseling, and rural wellness.

We are hiring for both a Teaching Assistant/Associate Professor and an Assistant/Associate Professor. While our program hopes to hire for August 2024, we are open to a January 2025 start date to ensure we hire the best colleagues possible. Interested applicants are encouraged to apply by Monday, June 10th. Please note that neither of these positions would be defined as remote and the hired candidates would be required to come on-campus.
