Good Afternoon,

This email serves as a friendly last chance registration reminder of an upcoming training in southeastern Ohio.

I wanted to make you aware of an upcoming professional development training in Marietta in March with CEs provided, sponsored by the Ohio Suicide Prevention Foundation in partnership with the Washington County Behavioral Health Board. This training is provided completely free of training fees through SAMHSA Grant #SM086105. Please feel free to share with your provider connections (we need to fill up spots!).

Collaborative Assessment and Management of Suicidality (CAMS) training:

  *   CAMS is an evidenced-based treatment framework used to assess suicidality and specifically treat suicide risk. CAMS 3-part training provides mental health professionals (and other relevant professionals) with essential knowledge in using the CAMS framework to collaborate with patients in the treatment of their suicidal drivers.

  *   10.0 CEs for Ohio Counselors, Social Workers, and Psychologists will be provided after completing the entire training.
  *   Cost: Training cost is completely covered through grant funds. There will only be a $40 fee for administrative expenses, including but not limited to, food & beverage. NOTE: Our partners at the Washington County Behavioral Health Board have generously agreed to waive the $40 registration fee for providers that either work and/or reside in Washington County.
