Dear Colleagues,



It is with great enthusiasm that I welcome Tamarine Foreman into the inaugural role of Associate Dean for Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Wellness. Tamarine is an Associate Professor in the Department of Counseling and Higher Education and currently serves as the Counselor Education Program Coordinator. Tamarine brings vast experience to this role, particularly around wellness.  She currently serves as a core trainer for Bobcats Who Care, was awarded the Outstanding Counselor Educator of the Year by the Ohio Association for Counselor Education and Supervision, and has served on PCOE's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion committee.  Tamarine is also a licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with supervisory endorsement and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional.



Please join me in welcoming Dr. Tamarine Foreman as she takes on these new responsibilities in support of our ongoing commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for all members of our community.



I also would like to thank Thom Stevenson for serving as the Deans Fellow for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion for the past two years.  His leadership within this role is much appreciated and has laid a strong foundation to build upon from DEI programming to new initiatives such as the PCOE onboarding process which he has graciously continued to coordinate this semester.
