You are invited to participate in a research study under the direction of Elizabeth Villares, PhD and Nadiya-Boyce Rosen of the Department of Education, Florida Atlantic University (FAU). Taking part in this research is entirely voluntary and should take about 5-10 minutes to complete. Your academic standing or the status of your employment will not, in any way, be affected should you choose not to participate or if you decide to withdraw from the study at any time.
Participant Criteria
Participants must:
-Be a graduate student enrolled in a CACREP-approved counselor education program.
or
-Graduated within 12 months of completing a master's or doctoral level degree from a CACREP-approved counselor education program.
The purpose of this study is to address the limited amount of research on counseling supervision by investigating counselors-in-training perceptions of their site supervisors' cultural humility, the supervisory working alliance, and the trainee's level of disclosure.
