Dear Patton College Graduate Students with a GA, GTA, or GRS appointment



In The Patton College and at Ohio University, summer tuition waivers are NOT distributed automatically to students holding graduate appointments (GA, TA, and GRS positions) during the spring semester prior and/or the fall semester following the given summer term; however, eligible students may request them. Currently, summer tuition waivers for students with graduate appointments (GA, GTA, GRS) during spring semester 2023 and/or notified of appointment for fall semester 2023 may be requested by appointment-holding students who meet the following additional eligibility criteria:

  *   Enrollment in a Patton College program that requires Summer 2023 coursework, as evidenced on the signed Program of Study (filed with PCOE Student Affairs or appropriate departmental office).
  *   Summer 2023 enrollment of at least 9 semester credit hours, as required by Ohio University, fully enrolled by May 1, 2023.
  *   Submission of eligible GA/GRS students applications requesting Summer 2023 tuition waivers by March 3, 2023.
  *   Submission of eligible GA/GRS Teaching Fellow students' application requesting Summer 2023 tuition waivers by March 3, 2023.

 

Interested students who meet elibibility must submit the application for Summer 2023 tuition waivers via this Qualtrics survey instrument. Your on-time submission is important because the tuition waivers (scholarships) are planned within the operating budget of the College.

 

Please note: Even if you might enroll in summer classes (but aren't sure yet), you should submit an application and have your approval for summer tuition waiver considered.
