The Alpha Chapter of Chi Sigma Iota (CSI) is holding a professional development seminar tomorrow, September 26, from 5:00 - 6:30 pm in Room 336, Patton Hall. The presenter is Sarah Hatch. Please see below for Sarah's bio.

The Alpha Chapter of CSI is providing pizza. If you are NOT in Dr. Foreman's Foundation course or Dr. Bhat's Counseling Children course and plan to attend, please email Ibrahim Akmese (ia345219 at ohio.edu<mailto:ia345219 at ohio.edu>), President of the Alpha Chapter of CSI by 10 am tomorrow to let him know so we can get the right number of pizzas!


Sarah Hatch, MA, LPCC
She|Her|Hers

Sarah is a licensed professional clinical counselor and has been working in private practice as the owner of Be Well Counseling since 2017, primarily serving LGBTQ+ clients. She recently applied for her supervisory endorsement and is looking forward to working with new clinicians who also want to serve LGBTQ+ clients. Sarah is a doctoral student in Counselor Education and Supervision at Ohio University and hopes to focus her research on the use of somatic therapies in the treatment of trauma in queer individuals. She currently serves on the executive committee of the Alpha Chapter of Chi Sigma Iota at Ohio University as Vice President. Sarah is President Elect of SAIGEO of Ohio - (Society for Sexual, Affectional, Intersex, and Gender Expansive Identities). As an advocate for the inclusive treatment of LGBTQ+ folx in counseling, Sarah has given many presentations to mental health clinicians who want to expand their areas of practice.
