[Counselor_Educ] On Racism and Hate towards Asians and Asian Americans

Dear Ohio University Counselor Education community,

Once again we are faced with a tragic mass shooting, this time targeting Asians/Asian Americans in Atlanta in which eight people were killed.
Our hearts are with AAPI individuals and communities who have been targeted and traumatized since the onset of COVID-19.
Please reach out with love and support to AAPI people in your orbit - family, friends, colleagues, peers.

The American Counseling Association put out a statement yesterday in response to this recent incident of violence and hate.
