Hello, Prospective Participant,

My name is Erin Kaszynski and I am a doctoral candidate at Texas A&M University-Commerce. I would like to invite you to participate in my dissertation study entitled Predictors for Preparedness in Gatekeeping Among Doctoral Counselor Education and Supervision Students. The goal is to understand to what extent certain factors influence doctoral student preparedness for engagement as a gatekeeper and has been granted approval by Texas A&M University – Commerce’s Institutional Review Board. I am conducting this study under the supervision of Chester R. Robinson, Ph.D., NCC, GCDFI, Associate Professor, Department of Counseling at Texas A&M University-Commerce.



To be eligible for this study, you should be a doctoral counseling student with the following qualifications: (a) an active Ph.D. student in Counselor Education and Supervision program that is CACREP accredited, (b) have experience supervising at least one counselor in training, (c) do not currently hold a supervisor license in your state, and/or (d) be either a licensed counselor or licensed counselor intern in your state.



Participation in this study is voluntary, yet greatly appreciated. Responses will be anonymous, yet you may have the opportunity to share your email address to be entered in a random drawing for one of 5 $20 Amazon gift cards. Those emails would be used for contact purposes only.
