Good Afternoon,

On behalf of the National Council on Rehabilitation Education (NCRE), I am excited to invite you to the 21st Annual National Rehabilitation Educators Conference to be held on Monday, April 5 – Wednesday, April 7, 2021 in San Diego, CA.

The purpose of the National Council on Rehabilitation Education (NCRE) is to promote the improvement of rehabilitation services available to people with disabilities through quality education and research. The conference supports this purpose by this year’s conference theme: “Standing at the Crossroad: Where Do We Go from Here?

 Conference Tracks:

  1.  COVID-19 Pandemic: Implications for Rehabilitation Counselor Education
  2.  Future Directions: New and Promising Practice
  3.  Global Rehabilitation: Current, New, and Promising Practices and Partnerships
  4.  Multicultural Competence and Social Justice Advocacy
  5.  Rehabilitation Counseling Research and Research Methods
  6.  Tackling Racism: A Public Health Crisis - Black Lives Matter
  7.  Technology in Rehabilitation Counseling: The Digital Divide
  8.  The Promising Future of Undergraduate Rehabilitation Education

NCRE seeks to enrich and broaden the content for the conference by featuring the following presentation formats:

  *   Concurrent Presentation Proposal.
  *   Seminar Presentation Proposal.
  *   Professional Scientific Poster Presentation Proposal (assistant, associate, full professor please review this document).
  *   Student Scientific Poster Presentation Proposal (Undergraduate, Graduate and Doctoral Students please review this document).

We plan to host our annual Spring conference in San Diego, CA in April.
Due to the unpredictability of the COVID-19 Pandemic the Call for Proposals has been prepared and addresses how each presentation format will be held for an in person conference and for an online conference. Where a change is applicable please be sure to review both headings in each document – In Person Conference and Online Conference.
