> Primary Purpose
> New faculty will assume program coordinator role and duties of the newly approved Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling (CRC) specialty program. Such duties will include developing the CRC curriculum to meet CACREP standards, assist the Department Chair and Associate Chair in developing recruitment strategies and tactics, and attend to program inquiries. Other duties include teaching core CACREP courses and specialty courses in the CRC program at the masters level, teaching in the doctoral program, In addition, faculty will advise masters and doctoral students, supervise practicum and internship students across counseling specialties, direct dissertations, submit grants, engage in scholarly inquiry, and maintain a record of university and professional service. Review of applications will begin January 15, 2020.

> Minimum Qualifications
> 1. Doctorate in counselor education from a CACREP accredited program, or CORE accredited program.
> 2. Ability to teach CACREP core courses with specialty experience in clinical rehabilitation counseling.
> 3. Ability to supervise master’s and doctoral level clinical experiences.
> 4. Desire and ability to establish an active scholarship and grant procurement line of research and professional service.
> 5. Must be licensable in the state of Idaho as a licensed professional counselor.
> 6. Credentialed, or ability to be credentialed, as a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor.
> 7. Evidence of effectively working with students from historically marginalized populations.
>
> Preferred Qualifications
> 1. Evidence of scholarly inquiry.
> 2. Evidence of active involvement with state, regional, and/or national counseling and rehabilitation counseling associations.
> 3. Publication in the ACA family of journals and journals related to clinical rehabilitation counseling.
> 4. Evidence of successful grant procurement.
