Hopewell Health Centers, Inc. has an opening for a full time ECMH Consultant at our Belpre, Behavioral Health location.
ECMH Consultant, Full time: 40 hours per week. Seeking a full time therapist to provide early childhood mental health services in a variety of locations. Regional travel be required. Person will work closely with teachers, parents, and young children who experience relationship problems, adjustment difficulties, mental health issues, and/or attachment issues which have derailed healthy development.
Minimum requirements: Possession of a valid license through the State of Ohio CSWMFT Board. Master's degree in a mental health related field; Education and experience working with children under 6 and their families; Experience with early childhood systems (e.g. public preschools, Help Me Grow, child care settings); Ability to work independently and relate to a variety of professionals and parents of young children; Valid driver's license and suitable vehicle for transportation.
Person must have: Knowledge of counseling techniques and family focused interventions; Experience and/or training working with children and families with a primary interest in working with young children and their families; the ability to work closely with clients and other family service providers in assessment and problem solving; the ability to work responsibly and manage own workload; The ability to relate well/appropriately to young children and their families; The ability to understand and relate to the family's values, culture and the children's interests.
