This is a follow-up message requesting your help to distribute or re-distribute the survey link for my dissertation study to graduate supervisees in your program.  I am in need of responses from graduate students currently receiving supervision of psychotherapy.  I would greatly appreciate any assistance you can offer with this effort!  In addition, your assistance will help to improve our understanding of effective discussions about cultural identities in supervision. Dear Colleagues,

My name is Stefan Jadaszewski and I am a doctoral candidate in Counseling Psychology.  I am writing to invite you to participate in my doctoral dissertation study.  The purpose of the study is to understand psychotherapy supervisees’ experiences of discussions related to cultural identities in supervision. This dissertation is supervised by Dr. Suzette Speight at the University of Akron.   Participation in this study should take approximately 5-25 minutes to complete.  This study has received Institutional Review Board (IRB) approval through the University of Akron (IRB #20181002).  Participants will have the option to be entered into a raffle for one of six $25 gift cards.

You may participate in this study if you are:

  1.  a psychotherapy supervisee who is currently receiving routine individual supervision of psychotherapy (at least twice a month) as part of graduate training, and
  2.  you are 18 years of age or older.
