[Counselor_Educ] FW: School Counselor Recruitment

Research Participants: School Counselors and LGBTQ Students.

Researchers at Florida International University (FIU) are inviting you to participate in a study that seeks to explore school counselors’ perceived readiness, challenges, and support in advocating for LGBTQ students.

You may be eligible to participate if you:

  *   Currently work as a school counselor;
  *   Have ever provided services to LGBTQ students;
  *   Are at least 18 years old
The study will only take about 10 minutes for you to respond to questions through an anonymous on line survey. All of the information you provide will be confidential and no identifying information will be used.
We are hopeful that the results of this study will help us learn more about how school counselors’ can best service LGBTQ students.  This study has been approved by FIU IRB Social and Behavioral Sciences (IRB #-17-0084).
