Spread the Word: Scholarships Available

The NBCC Foundation is pleased to announce the 2019 application period for the NBCC Foundation Scholarship Program and Center for Credentialing & Education awards. More than 30 scholarships are available for counseling students and professionals seeking additional credentials and continuing education opportunities.

Award amounts range from $500 to $8,000 and include scholarships in the following categories:

• Five master’s scholarships for students with military experience

• Five master’s scholarships for students from rural areas

• One doctoral scholarship for a counseling student with research focused on testing, assessment, or both

• Two scholarships for international students holding or currently pursuing the Global Career Development Facilitator credential

• 16 scholarships to assist professionals with obtaining or maintaining credentials from the Center for Credentialing & Education

This week, the Foundation will mail advertisement posters to all CACREP liaisons. We ask that you help us inform your students and fellow faculty of these incredible award opportunities by taking a few minutes to display the poster on your counseling department or community information board.
