Greetings,

On August 12th, I announced the Call for Proposals for the 19th Annual National Rehabilitation Educators Conference to be held on Tuesday, April 16 – Thursday, April 18, 2019 in San Diego, CA. The original deadline date to submit was Sunday, November 4, 2018 by 10:00PM PT. Please take the time to read the following message below regarding two important updates by the lead co-review team, Dr. Elizabeth Boland and Dr. Brian Phillips.  Thanks, NCRE Administrative Office

Message from Dr. Elizabeth Boland and Dr. Brian Phillips
Based on feedback from several people, and in consultation with the incoming NCRE President, Matt Bruinekool, we realized that individuals were interpreting the tracks for the Spring Conference in a different, more restrictive way than intended.

As we were developing the tracks, the three of us felt that graduate education topics could be included in all tracks, besides the one specifically focused on undergraduate education. In talking with several people who were planning on submitting proposals, we realized that the topics were being viewed as less broad than intended. Realizing that this was a potential issue for multiple presenters, we decided to include a broader track to represent all best practices and outcomes in graduate education. For this reason the new deadline date to submit is now MONDAY, NOVEMBER 12, 2018 by 10:00PM PT.

Message from NCRE Administrative Office
If you submitted a proposal before October 29th or sometime today and looking to resubmit based on the new deadline date OR to submit for the new track please send me an email to me at info at ncre.org<mailto:info at ncre.org> so I can remove the proposal to prevent any duplicates.
