Position Description:
Assistant Professor of Rehabilitation and Human Services (RHS) - Penn State Berks

Penn State Berks, a college within The Pennsylvania State University located in Reading, PA, is seeking to hire an Assistant Professor of Rehabilitation and Human Services (RHS) beginning in August 2019. Responsibilities include teaching courses in the Rehabilitation and Human Services undergraduate major, conducting a program of research, and service to the college and community. Required qualifications include an earned doctorate in Rehabilitation Counseling, Rehabilitation Counselor Education, Counselor Education or a closely related field and a promising record of teaching, research, and clinical experience/supervision. Ph.D. must be completed before August 1, 2019. Possible areas of instruction include client assessment, counseling, group work, case management, community mental health, and children and families in RHS. Supervising internships will also be required. Familiarity with online/hybrid delivery of course content is desirable. Schedule may include evening classes. The review process will begin November 1, 2018 and continue until the position is filled.
