Subject: Doctoral Student Research Study HIV/AIDS knowlege and attitudes
Dear Graduate Students in Counseling Programs,
My name is Roseina Britton, a third year doctoral student in counselor education and supervision program at the University of Iowa.
I am collecting data for my research project.
The purpose of the study is to investigate counselor trainees' attitudes and knowledge of HIV/AIDS.
If you are a graduate student in counseling and related programs you may be eligible.
(e.g., Rehabilitation and Counselor Education, School Counseling, Counseling Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, as well as Couple and Family Therapy)
This study is being conducted by researchers in the Department of Rehabilitation Counselor Education in the University of Iowa.
The study involves completing an online survey via Qualtrics link. All procedures will take approximately 15 minutes.
If you agree to participate, we would like you to complete a series of questionnaires. It consists of demographic questionnaire and questions about your knowledge and attitudes towards HIV/AIDS.
To protect your confidentiality, we will collect demographic information only directly needed to conduct the study. We will not collect your name or any identifying information about you. It will not be possible to link you to your responses on the survey.
Taking part in this research study is completely voluntary. If you do not wish to participate in this study, return the survey without answering any of the questions.
