Description
The Psychology Department at Suffolk University invites applications for a full-time non-tenure track position in the Masters of Mental Health Counseling (MHC) program at the rank of Assistant Professor beginning Fall 2017.

Candidates must have completed a doctoral degree in either clinical or counseling psychology (PhD, PsyD, EdD) and be licensed in the state of Massachusetts.  The position responsibilities are 50% teaching in the MHC program and 50% administration in support of the MHC program.  Specifically the individual will be responsible for teaching internship, practicum and related intervention courses, coordinating external placements, establishing new training relationships, and overseeing counselor training and evaluation processes in collaboration with the program director.  Area of interest is open but demonstrated expertise in working with underserved populations is desired.  The Psychology Department administers a Master of Science program in MHC (40 students), an APA-accredited Boulder model Ph.D. program in clinical psychology (60 students), and has an undergraduate psychology program of over 300 majors.
