Please see the attached flyer and registration form for our 3rd Annual “A Closer Look” Mental Health & Providers’ Conference. The event will be held Friday, September 22, 2017 in Lansing, MI.

The emphasis of workshop sessions will be examining the relationship found between trauma, emotional intelligence, resilience and effective interventions that remove mental health barriers that children and adults.

The sessions will discuss developing trends, clinical insight, advocacy and social change regarding trauma, recovery and treatment planning. Participants can expect to gain additional knowledge, time tested strategies and interventions.

The morning session has been approved for 4 CEU’s (Social Work) by the Michigan Social Work Continuing Education Collaborative (approved  provider number: 070717-01) and.4 CEU’s (Counseling)  by the National Board of Certified Counselors (approved  provider number: SP-2911). The afternoon session will award a certificate of professional development  training (no CEU’s).
