My name is Victoria Maneev and I am a doctoral student at the University of Iowa in the Department of Rehabilitation and Counselor Education. I am working on a research project with my advisor Dr. Noel Estrada-Hernandez to assess and understand the experiences of master’s level students regarding their knowledge of disabilities. We would like your assistance in forwarding the following email to your students:


Dear Counseling Student,

My name is Victoria Maneev and I am a doctoral student at the University of Iowa in the Department of Rehabilitation and Counselor Education. I am currently working on a research project with my advisor Dr. Noel Estrada-Hernandez to assess and understand the experiences of master’s level students regarding their knowledge of disabilities. This email is being sent to you in order to collect data about the experiences of counseling students and their knowledge of disabilities.

If you agree to participate, you will be asked a few demographic questions and then proceed into the survey, which consists of 27 items on a Likert Scale. It will take approximately 20 minutes to complete the study procedures.
