Apply Your Knowledge. Find Your Professional Voice.

Master's and doctoral-level graduate students in counseling will be making incredibly important ethical decisions throughout their careers. The ACA Graduate Student Ethics Competition offers a chance to put ethical studies into practice and hone ethical decision-making skills.

Here's how it works: Students form a team of three or four classmates, register<http://ACAA.informz.net/z/cjUucD9taT00NzQ4ODU3JnA9MSZ1PTc3MjA2NDAyNyZsaT0zMDYwODc2Mw/index.html> for the competition, receive a case study, then work through the ethical problem together and submit a brief paper identifying the following:

1. The ethical dilemma in the case study.

2. The proposed action you would take in this case.

3. The justification for that action.

4. A description of the decision-making model used.

Members from the first-place winning team will each receive a $100 ACA eGift certificate (may be applied to membership, Conference registration, books, and more), recognition in Counseling Today, a certificate and letter of recognition, an invitation to attend the National Awards ceremony at the ACA-CCPA 2016 Conference & Expo in Montreal, and something GREAT to include on their resume/CV!
