Next week, November 16-20 is A Mile Together Week! It is also Trans Empowerment Week. There are a number of exciting events and volunteer opportunities taking place during the week. See below for more information:

FOR VOLUNTEERS!
Thursday November 19 we are having a day long demonstration in Baker Center to raise awareness about Power-Based Personal Violence prevention. Volunteers will be riding the escalators and parading throughout Baker wearing t-shirts with messages about sexual assault prevention (t-shirts are FREE). Students can volunteer for as long or as short as they want, but we ask that your group please select one of the following times to come in as a group to volunteer:
8:40am-9:10am
10:10am-10:40am
11:40am-12:10pm
1:10pm-1:40pm
2:40pm-3:10pm
It is very important that your group arrives on time. All volunteers should report to the table at the top or bottom of Baker. Please know that volunteering at this event COUNTS AS COMMUNITY SERVICE. FREE coffee and hot chocolate will be provided as well.
