Show the World How Much Counselors Care!

April 1st marks the beginning of Counseling Awareness Month 2015. ACA designates every April as a month to educate the public about the counseling profession, the important work you do each day, and the many contributions you make to communities nationwide.

Follow the checklist below to get involved:

❒  Display your Counselors Care car magnet, or request a FREE one if you haven't done so yet (supplies are limited).

❒  Download Media Tips for Members, general Counseling Awareness Month Information, a Professional Counseling Fact Sheet, the Official Scope of Practice for Licensed Professional Counselors (LPCs), ACA's Counseling Corner columns, and more. ❒  Enter the 2015 Public Outreach Contest for a chance to win a full registration to the ACA 2016 Conference & Expo in Montreal (March 31-April 3, 2016).

❒  Print, download, and/or share our "12 Things You Should Know about Professional Counselors" and "School Counselor" infographics ("12 Things" infographic is also available to purchase as a poster).

❒  Take a photo for our Social Media Campaign and post to your personal accounts in April using hashtag #CounselorsCare.

❒  Replace the profile picture on your social media accounts with our special Counselors Care graphic.

❒  View and share our special online gallery of ACA Member Portraits: Faces of Counseling 2015.

❒  Show your counseling pride in April and beyond by wearing, displaying, or using our modern ACA merchandise.
