What:  "Everyday Advocates: Counseling Leadership in Practice" - 3 CEU's
When:  Friday, April 10th at 10:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
Where: Youngstown State University, Beeghly College of Education, McKay Auditorium, Youngstown, OH

The presenters will include national, state, and agency leaders - examples includes:  President, National Employment Counseling Association; President-Elect, National Career Development Association; President, Ohio Counseling Association; Vice-President, Meridian Community Care; Administrative Director, Mahoning County Mental Health Board; Past-President, Chi Sigma Iota - International; and Past-President, Ohio Counseling Association, etc.

Participants will develop advocacy and leadership strategies to advocate for clients / counseling profession, network with OACES members, present your research poster (option for students), and earn 3 CEU's in Youngstown, Ohio.   Counseling students are invited to submit a proposal to participate in the 30 minute student poster competition during the lunch -  complete the attached proposal form.  Poster presentation application (attached)​.  Lunch provided!

This workshop is co-sponsored by the Ohio Counseling Association and the Eta Chapter, CSI, Youngstown State University Counseling Program.
