Subject: Positions Available
Hi Everyone,
Due to continued growth at Meridian Community Care, I am emailing a list of our current open positions. They are listed below with a brief description of each program. Interested candidates can see a more information about our programs on our website www.MeridianCommunityCare.org<http://www.meridiancommunitycare.org/>.
We are currently looking to fill the following positions with a licensed LPC, LPCC or LPCC-S (we are happy to consider students approaching graduation as well):
Adult Outpatient Counseling - a clinician to see clients on a 1:1 basis who have been assessed by our assessment department and found to need low intensity counseling to address mental health or substance abuse issues. Schedule is flexible based on counselor and client need - can be discussed in interview.
Afternoon Intensive Outpatient Counselor - Due to being at maximum capacity in our day and evening IOP groups, we are looking for a FT counselor to provide Intensive Outpatient Groups at our main campus. This counselor would be managing this caseload through group counseling, individual counseling and case management. Schedule involves work during M - F only - hours would be discuss in interview as there is some flexibility here as well, example. could work four 10 hour days.
Co-Occurring Treatment Counselor - This counselor would be doing a mixture of assertive outreach (working in the community with clients) as well as in office counseling. This program is specifically for individuals in Quadrant IV (Severe and persistent mental health and severe and persistent history of addiction). This is a smaller program due to intensity, but has a lot of close supervision. M - F schedule, typical business hours.
Assessment Counselors - We are in need of two assessment counselors to assist with Walk-in and scheduled assessments. This is a great position to be in to refine diagnostic skills and receive a lot of hands on supervision. M - F schedule, most work 8 - 4:30pm.
Criminal Justice Assessment Counselor - Same as above but with our Criminal Justice population - assessments may take place in the office or in jail setting depending on the courts request. Assessments are done on clients who have pending court charges that may be related to substance use or mental health issues.
In addition, if you have students (or you are a student :) ) looking for PT or FT work while in the program, we have other positions available that could help them get into an organization and further develop knowledge of mental health/addictions.
We have two Case management positions open - one for our Co-Occurring Treatment Program (see above) and one for our Adult Residential Treatment program (men's and women's residential treatment).
Also, we have Client Care Coordinator (CCCs) Positions available in our residential and housing programs. CCCs work with clients in our programs to ensure that they are following the guidelines of the program, assist them in daily care, and provide interaction throughout their day in programming. We have a number of undergraduate and graduate students working in this capacity - they have found the training invaluable as they work toward licensure.
All interested students can feel free to send questions/resumes to me at mfortner at meridiancommunitycare.org<mailto:mfortner at meridiancommunitycare.org> and I will be happy to talk with them and set them up for an interview.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you!!!
