Attend the upcoming workshop to gain advocacy/leadership knowledge and skills to enhance client care.

What:  "Everyday Advocates: Counseling Leadership in Practice" - 3 CEU's + Lunch
When:  Friday, April 10th at 10:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
Where: Youngstown State University, Beeghly College of Ed., McKay Auditorium, Youngstown, OH

Attendees will learn strategies from practicing counselors who demonstrate leadership/advocacy on a daily basis through counseling, supervision, administration, and professional service. Presenters include:

*Meghan Fortner, PCC-S (Meridian Community Care)
*Donna Czeck, LSC (Lordstown School District)
*Toni Notaro, PCC-S (Mahoning County Mental Health Board)
*Jessica Headley, LPC (University of Akron)
*Dr. Victoria Kress, LPCC-S (Youngstown State University)
*Dr. Cynthia Marco-Scanlon, LPCC-S (John Carroll University)
*Nikunj Patel, LPCC (Meridian Community Care)
*Dr. Matthew Paylo, LPCC-S (Youngstown State University)
*Dr. Jake Protivnak, LPCC-S, LSC (Youngstown State University)

Counseling students are invited to submit a proposal to participate in the poster competition during the lunch (complete the attached proposal form).

This workshop is co-sponsored by the Ohio Counseling Association and the Eta Chapter, CSI, YSU Counseling Program.
