Dear Doctoral Student:
My name is Kathleen Brown-Rice, and I am an Assistant Professor at the University of South Dakota. My colleague from the University of North Carolina Charlotte, Susan Furr, and I am inviting you to participate in an online survey. The purpose of this research project is to determine counseling and psychology doctoral students' knowledge of peers' and faculty members' problems of professional competency. We know your time is valuable and limited but would greatly appreciate your input on this issue.
This survey will take approximately 8 to 10 minutes to complete. Your participation in carrying out this research will add valuable contribution to the field of counseling and psychology. If you choose to participate in this study, your information will be kept both anonymous and confidential, as no names or email addresses will be identified with your responses. You may withdraw or decline without penalty at any time.
