Job Summary
The Division of Education and Counseling at Xavier University of LA, a Historically Black and Catholic University located in New Orleans, invites applications for tenure-track position(s) in Counseling starting fall 2015.

Duties of this position includes: teaching graduate courses in Counseling, supervising practicum and internship, advising, conducting and publishing independent and collaborative research; developing proposals for grant funding; taking an active role in partnerships with agencies and school systems; participating in the academic life in the division; and serving on division, colleges, and university committees.

Minimum Qualifications:
Candidates must have a doctoral degree in Counselor Education and Supervision from a CACREP-accredited program, or have been employed as a full-time faculty member in a counselor education program for a minimum of one full academic year before July 1, 2013. Additional requirements include proficiency in teaching with technology and excellent communication skills.
