 Position:   	7-12 Guidance Counselor

Ayersville Local Schools is seeking applicants for a 7-12 Guidance Counseling position.  Candidates must possess appropriate certification or license.  Ideally, the candidate would bring to the school system a variety of experiences to support the management of the following responsibilities:

.	Individual and/or group counseling
.	Assisting students with course registration and meeting graduation  
        requirements
.	Schedule building through the PowerSchool system (or similar
software)
.	Assisting students with the college application process
.	Assisting students with scholarship applications
.	Managing the local scholarship program
.	Managing and facilitating the state testing program
.	Managing student records 
.	Maintaining accurate student data files through PowerSchool (or
similar 
        software)
.	Knowledge of EMIS reporting
.	Knowledge of Middle and Elementary school services is a plus as we
are 
        a K-12 building
.	Knowledge of the IAT process and special education services
.	Ability to network with personnel from other districts, the Career 
        Center, and higher education to meet the needs of students engaging in 
        programming beyond our building
