Effective January 1, 2014, the NEW school counselor licensure exam for Ohio is the OAE (Ohio Assessment for Educators) and no longer the PRAXIS. Click here to visit the Ohio Department of Education for further information about the testing process.

For those currently scheduled to take the NTE/Praxis II in January 2014, ODE will continue to accept those scores in lieu of the OAE. Anyone schedule to take the NTE/Praxis II after January 2014 will be provided with a full refund from Praxis and will need to schedule to take the OAE.
