JOHN CARROLL UNIVERSITY
TENURE TRACK FACULTY IN THE COUNSELOR EDUCATION PROGRAM
DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION & ALLIED STUDIES
The Department of Education and Allied Studies seeks applicants for a faculty position (Assistant Professor) in the Counselor Education Program. This is a tenure track position in a CACREP-accredited master's program.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
*     Doctoral degree from a CACREP accredited program
*     Valid license, or license eligible, as a Professional Clinical Counselor
*     Evidence of potential for research and publishing in the field of Clinical Mental Health or School Counseling

      PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
*     Experience teaching graduate level courses in Counselor Education
*     Established record of scholarly publications
*     Experience with CACREP accreditation standards
*     Administrative experience
*     Experience supervising counseling practicum and internship students
*     Licensed as a Professional Clinical Counselor with Supervisory designation in Ohio
*     Licensed as a School Counselor
*     Active participation in state/national counseling organizations and related community organizations

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
*     Teaching graduate level courses
*     Advising students
*     Publishing scholarly works which reflect a focused research agenda
*     Coordinating program activities
*     Contributing service to university, department, and program
*     Actively participating in state/national counseling organizations and in related community organizations
