Subject: Volunteering oppertunity for students at ACA conference.

Hi CESneters,

I am the student representative for the International Association of Marriage
and Family Counselors (IAMFC). I am seeking student volunteers for our booth at
the ACA conference. For three hours of service you will receive a free student
membership. If you are attending the ACA conference and are interested in a
service opportunity, please contact me at abby.platt at waldenu.edu. Below are some
additional benefits of being an IAMFC student member.

Reduced membership rate
•	Subscription to The Family Journal
•	Subscription to The Family Digest (electronic newsletter)
•	Networking with other counseling professionals
•	Family Therapy Certification through IAMFC's affiliation with NCA
•	Professional advocacy
•	Public policy initiatives
•	Opportunities for leadership and mentoring
•	Access to liability insurance through CPH & Associates
•	Discount rate for CEU opportunities
•	Publication opportunities in our monthly newsletter, The Family Digest and in
our journal, The Family Journal
•	Student discussion board for information on research projects/ideas,
internships, and job opportunities.

Listed below are the steps for interested students seeking to join the IAMFC.

Students can join IAMFC via the website registration page at:

https://www.iamfconline.org/public/5.cfm

Students can locate that page by clicking the "Join Now" button on the homepage
at IAMFConline.org.

When filling out the registration form, students select "Student Membership" in
the membership plan area to obtain the reduced membership rate.

Once a student joins IAMFC from that registration page, they have instant access
to the website and can login as a member by clicking "Login" under the IAMFC
logo near the top right of the home page.

If you or your students have any questions about the benefits or process for
joining the IAMFC please feel free to contact me at abby.platt at waldenu.edu.
