OACES Student Scholarships Available for the 7th Annual Legislative Advocacy Day April 16, 2013

The members of the Ohio Association for Counselor Education and Supervision (OACES) are pleased to sponsor graduate students to attend the 7th Annual Legislative Advocacy Day (LAD), on April, 16, 2013, in Columbus.

OACES will reimburse the $25 registration fee for 40 graduate students (master's and doctoral students). Interested students should email their name and which counselor education program / university with which they are affiliated to Nick Piazza, PhD, (nick.piazza.phd at gmail.com) by April 12th, 2013. Please type in the subject line of the email "LAD Scholarship Application." Students will be notified by return email of their acceptance.

Scholarships will be awarded on a first come-first served basis, though there also will be consideration given to spreading scholarships across universities. Applicants selected to receive a $25 scholarship should register and pay for the LAD. After students attend LAD, they will receive their $25 reimbursement once they provide proof of registration. Selected students will receive further instructions on how to receive their reimbursement.
