Adult Identity Evolution:
Diversity within Personal and Professional Transitions
The Association for Adult Development and Aging is pleased to announce and begin accepting program proposals for the 2013 AADA Annual Conference, Adult Identity Evolution: Diversity within Personal and Professional Transitions, in New York, NY, July 18-19, 2013.
Thursday, July 18: Pre-Conference Workshops (#1: Ethics; #2: Supervision)
Friday, July 19: Conference Presentations
AADA serves as a focal point for sharing, professional development, and advocacy related to adult development across the lifespan, and seeks to improve the standards of professional service to adults across stages.
Some General Topics to Consider -and there are so many more:
1. Identity development in adulthood
2. Women and transitions
3. Diversity issues across the lifespan
4. Positive aging strategies
5. Men and aging
6. Career transitions for mid-life to older adults
7. Counselor self-care/professional and ethical issues
8. Emerging adult development
9. LGBT adults coming out
The deadline for proposal submission is Monday, January 28, 2013.
To submit a proposal, please create a WORD document with the following information, and submit via E-mail at address below.
