Subject: Syracuse University Temporary Faculty Position Opening

Syracuse University Counseling and Human Services Department seeks a counselor educator to fill a full-time temporary position that begins January 7, 2013 and ends May 11, 2014. (Summer teaching is not included although there are possibilities for teaching in the summer.) The position is at the Assistant Professor (Ph.D.) or Instructor (ABD) level. Responsibilities of the position include teaching a variety of courses in the master's programs, most particularly in the mental health counseling track, advising, and assisting in Department service activities. A doctorate (or ABD) in counselor education from a CACREP-accredited university is required, as is experience as a practicum/internship supervisor. Applicants must provide evidence of qualifications in teaching and supervision.
