Assistant Professor of Counseling in Educational Settings

Description:
The position involves teaching graduate courses in the Master's level school counseling program including supervising students during their clinical experiences.

Principal Responsibilities Include:

 *   Teach courses in the Counseling in Educational Settings Program (CACREP Accredited) .
 *   Scholarly productivity, including professional presentations and publications
 *   Advising of students
 *   Engagement in service work at the Program, Department and College levels
 *   Involvement and service with the school counseling profession and field.
 *   Provide clinical supervision of students in field experiences

Qualifications Required:
*       Doctorate in Counselor Education by start date, preferably from a CACREP accredited program.
*       Experience and excellence in teaching at the graduate level
*       Certificate in school counseling as well as practical experiences in K-12 Settings.
*       Licensure or eligibility for  licensure in the state of New Jersey

Qualifications Preferred:

 *   National certification in Counseling
 *   Knowledge of national accreditation standards (CACREP)
