Summary
Faculty in the Limited Residency MAP Programs are assigned to work primarily within a specific degree program, but may also work in other degree programs given the needs of the College and with the approval of the Dean of Distance Learning and Academic Affairs. Limited Residency MAP faculty reports to the Dean of Distance Learning and Academic Affairs.

The primary responsibilities of all Limited Residency MAP faculty are
threefold: 1. to teach and advise students, support student learning, oversee student programs of study with adjunct mentors and graduate advisors, assess student learning; 2. to serve the College and community (e.g., through committee work, programmatic development, academic decision-making, and other curricular activities for the degree program as a whole); and 3. to engage in scholarship and professional development that develop our programs and learning environments for students (e.g., community-based research, action-research, scholarship of teaching and learning).

Faculty may be assigned the additional role and responsibilities as Program Director or Associate Dean to coordinate the programmatic activities of undergraduate or graduate programs. Faculty may be assigned the additional role and responsibilities as Chair to oversee one or more of the interdisciplinary graduate programs. Such additional responsibilities are specified in annual offer letters.

Essential Responsibilities
. On-site campus based Faculty position.
. Fulfill primary responsibilities so as to manifest and advance the College mission and Limited Residency MAP strategic priorities.
. Set professional development goals and appropriate performance assessment methods each year in the context of College mission and Limited Residency MAP strategic priorities . Participate in development, support and teaching of hybrid synchronous/asynchronous core curricula both in-person at residency events and via learning technologies (e.g., Moodle) and other educational activities.
. Support individual student program development and approve study plans and curriculum documentation.
. Advise students towards completion of program graduation and other requirements; support student learning; evaluate and provide timely feedback on student work.
. Identify, recruit, train, assign, and supervise graduate advisors, mentors, QP readers, other adjuncts.
. Assist students in locating internships and practicum experiences; provide support and oversight.
. Maintain regular communications with assigned students, other faculty, graduate advisors and/or mentors; keep regular on-site or remote office hours.
. Participate in faculty meetings, retreats, and graduation ceremonies as appropriate.
. Develop, grow, and support new and/or existing curricular areas, including assisting in the recruitment, advising and application evaluation for new students.
. Assist with recruitment and admissions processes of new students in general degree areas, specific curricular areas, and geographic region as appropriate.
. Conduct scholarship, professional development and community service / outreach.

If during the course of a contract year, FTTE enrollment for a faculty member falls below the hire range, other duties may be assigned by the Dean.

Practicum and Internship Responsibilities The practicum and internships responsibilities include responsibility for creating and managing all aspects of the Practicum/Internship and ensuring students' success in these experiences. The individual works directly with students by teaching the practicum and internship classes, supervising all students, and supporting students during their placement experience. The individual builds and maintains relationships with on-site supervisors and organizations that supervise CP students. The individual assists students in securing a site for practicum/internship and provides students, faculty supervisors and site supervisors with guidelines and evaluation criteria.
The director also assists students in selecting a site that meets their needs, and creates and updates all interns' and supervisors' records. The faculty provides and receives feedback from students, faculty supervisors and on-site supervisors, evaluates students' progress, reports to the program chair and issues a final narrative evaluation of students.

Continued Responsibilities
. Maintain and continue to update Practicum/Internship experience to meet current CACREP standards.
. Maintain a core faculty load of 20 FTTE.
. Facilitate weekly practicum/internship supervision sessions . Maintain and update Practicum/Internship student manual and site-supervisor manual.
. Assist Program Chair with current goals in attaining CACREP accreditation for Counseling Psychology Master's Program . Present at each colloquium workshops to enhance student self-directed learning . Review and approve student practicum/internship applications and agreement forms, sign all on-site supervisor evaluations, site evaluations and end of the semester forms.
. Assisted with site-specific crisis intervention and emergency services when needed with students.

Minimum Requirements
. 5+ years experience in clinical practice.
. Licensed or licensed eligible in the State of Arizona.
. Experience providing clinical supervision to graduate level counseling students.
. Experience teaching counseling practicum/internship coursework.
. Earned doctoral degree in counselor education and supervision (preferably from a CACREP-accredited program), or an earned doctoral degree in a related field and have been employed as full-time faculty member in a counselor education program for a minimum of one full academic year.
