OMHCA has scholarships available for students to attend Legislative Advocacy Day. The 2012 Sixth Annual Legislative Advocacy Day has been scheduled for May 14, 2012 from 9:30 am - 1:30 pm at the Statehouse Atrium, Columbus. LAD is sponsored by the Ohio Counseling Association in conjunction with OSCA, OMHCA and OACES. The day will consist of legislative advocacy training, speeches from prominent government officials, updates on current legislative issues, time to share/discuss with colleagues and scheduled appointments to meet with your legislators. The registration deadline is May 9, 2012.  Payment can be made online using your credit card or PayPal account. Payment can also be mailed to OCA or made the day of the event. The cost is $50 for Professionals and $25 for Students.

2.25 CEU hours for PCs and PCCs will be provided (no additional charge). School counselors will be provided a certificate of attendance to share with your LPDC. Break refreshments and a box lunch is included as part of your registration.
