> Journal of Human Services is a national refereed journal. Manuscripts judged by the editors to fall within the range of interest of the journal will be submitted to reviewers without the names and identifying information of the authors. The principal audiences of the Journal are human service faculty members, administrators, practitioners, and undergraduate and graduate students. Sample areas of interest include teaching methods, models of internships, faculty development, career paths of graduates, credentialing, accreditation, models of undergraduate and graduate study, clinical issues in human service treatment, and supervision of human service practitioners.

This statement should express the central idea of the article in non-technical language and should appear on a page separate from the text.

A 50-word capsule statement should accompany the note.

> 3. Critical Reviews. Journal of Human Services accepts reviews of textbooks, other instructional materials, and scholarly books of interest to human service educators and practitioners.
