[Counselor_Educ] National Award for Dr. Pillay from AMCD

I am pleased to announce that Dr. Pillay is the 2012 recipient of the Association for Multicultural Counseling and Development (AMCD) Exemplary Diversity Leadership Award.

Dr. Pillay will be recognized in the AMCD Newsletter, on the AMCD website, and the award will be announced on the AMCD, CESNet, and CSJ listservs. He will be honored for his accomplishment at the AMCD Luncheon at the ACA convention in San Francisco.

Dr. Pillay's nomination was part of the Alpha Chapter of Chi Sigma Iota's Professional Development Committee initiative to nominate students and faculty for national awards. This initiative was headed by Eric Beeson and Natalie Williams. Thank you CSI team!!
